Bella(left) and Jacqueline(right) from New Zealand
Jacqueline Joseph and her 10 year old daughter Bella, all the way from New Zealand visited Sarnelli House for 3 days this month. Bella settled right into life with the children at Sarnelli House and organized gymnastics and generally became one of the kids. Jacqueline and Bella are traveling in Thailand for 1 month and left books and self portraits of Bella’s classmates with the children.
Mary Pelikan from the Foundation Office of the Redemptorists in Denver, USA spent some days at Sarnelli House. It was her first visit and she was welcomed the opportunity to view the work of Sarnelli House, so she can talk from experience to those people that give generously through her office. Mary worked out with Fr Shea in the gym and shared the daily life of the children at all the houses and we hope to see her again.

Lou is a regular guest of Emily’s to Thailand, but it was the first time for both of them to visit Sarnelli House. Lou is involved in the Outreach Program at St Michael’s Parish, Wheaton Illinois. Lou will now be able to give a first hand account of how the generous support of St Michael’s parish has enriched the lives of many children here at Sarnelli House.

Pi Pui (second from left) from Sirinagrind Hospital
Pi Pui is a pharmacist with the team at Sirinagrind Hospital in Khon Kaen, who treat many of our children with HIV /AIDS. She and a small team came to visit Sarnelli House to assist in improving the complex storage and distribution of the Anti Retro Viral (ARV) medicines for the children. Her input will ensure the children are given the absolute correct dosages of ARV medicine at Sarnelli House, and she will visit again in 2 months to follow up on her recommendations. Sarnelli House is extremely grateful for the professionalism and skills of Dr Pop and all the team at Sirinagarind Hospital.
Angelique and Ben Ummels from The Netherlands visited at the end of May. This is their 4 th time here and they are already looking forward to returning in October.
