Fr Shea's Birthday (July 30th, 2008)

     Celebrations for Fr Shea's Birthday included a pizza party, ice cream and birthday greetings in front of everyone from each of the houses. Don Rac from House of Hope excelled, wishing Fr Shea a Happy Birthday in english. Oi from Sarnelli was a bit overcome with stage fright but did her best in front of a very discerning audience. Sugar from Our Lady of Refuge Home for Girls was an old hand at wooing the audience, and Boy from St Patrick's was excited but loud and clear in his greetings. The final act was Oh from St Patrick's singing a special Thai fathers day song. The pizza went down well, smothered in chilli sauce and washed down by coke. Ice cream was free flowing and Fr Shea handed out 500 baht to everyone, thanks to the success of Cebo ride and the generous donations of many people. A Happy Birthday celebration for everyone.
