Jo Furlong, Fundraising Coordinator from the Thai Children’s Trust and Virginia Yip a long time supporter of the Thai Children’s Trust spent a few days at Sarnelli House while travelling through Thailand with Derek Franklin to see the projects that the Thai Children’s Trust support.

Debbie Willis from the UK spent her regular 2 weeks at Sarnelli House much to the delight of the children who made frequent visits to Tesco Lotus with Debbie and the other volunteers. Debbie’s baking was as ever, heartily appreciated by everyone. We look forward to her return in the next school holidays in 2010.

Sam Hennessy from the UK volunteered for the first time at Sarnelli House. She came for 2 weeks and taught English and really connected with the children who enjoyed her fun and energy.

Caitlin McCarthy from the USA volunteered while on her study break. She is at the tail end of her 6 months study in Thailand and we wish her well settling in back home.
Tommy Kelly from Ireland, fundraised back home and generously raised enough money to buy 27 bicycles to give to some of the kids on the Outreach Program, St Patrick’s, Sarnelli House and the Jan and Oscar House. The funds he raised also helped the Outreach Program in rebuilding a house and supporting a young girl’s schooling.
