Our visitors welcomed the New Year in with the kids for all of January. 2010 marks the 10th Anniversary of Sarnelli House and we can only say a heartfelt thank you to all of our visitors, and also to those who cannot visit but continue to show their generosity and love to the children of Sarnelli House in so many other ways.
Barbara and Rainer Rudl with their children Benjamin and Lia, and their friends Ronja and Daniel visited for New Year. The Rudls along with other friends of Sarnelli House from the Evangelische Apostelkirche Oberhausen in Germany have been generous in their support and love for the children of Sarnelli House over the last 10 years.

Stephanie Des Arts- Loup and her husband Alex from Switzerland experienced the camping experience over the New Year with the great unwashed, and lived to tell the tale.

Peggy Folkes and Buffy Bye, two friends from Canada were travelling through South East Asia and spent time with the children over January.

Natalie Ogene from the UK came for the month of January and helped out with teaching English and taking care of the babies at House of Hope. She left to continue her travels in Thailand.

Therese and Tim Powell and their 3 daughters Min, Belle and Harriet, friends of Kate from Australia, had their first experience of Sarnelli House. The girls were quickly accepted by the kids and we hope they come to visit again.

Louise and her daughter Hannah came for their second visit and prepared chocolate cake and presents for their last day which was of course eagerly received by the children at Sarnelli House.

Claire Atkinson from BUPA, UK and James came on a speedy visit. Claire had been instrumental in organizing 60 BUPA volunteers from all over the world, to come and help out at Sarnelli House in 2007 with painting the houses, supplying bedding for the kids and playground equipment among many other things. Through BUPA she continues to help Sarnelli House and we are grateful for her and BUPA’s ongoing assistance.
